Mary H. Lefler, 82, of Shelbyville, died on Thursday, the 3rd day of November, 2016, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born in Anderson County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late George Edgar and Bertha Matilda Rogers Barnes and the widow of Harry Allen Lefler, Sr. She was a member of the West Frankfort Church of God. She assisted her husband for many years in the operation of the Lefler Construction Company. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Harry Allen Lefler, Jr., and Jeffrey Davis, two grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.

Her survivors include her daughters, Glenna Allen of Shelbyville and Alice Valentine of Taylor Michigan; one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 A. M., Tuesday, the 8th day of November, 2016, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville, with Reverend Roy Temple, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in the Shady Lawn Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M., until 8:00 P.M., Monday, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville.
