Daughter of Herman & Mary Eadington Rule (nee Pyott) Strom.Wife of Walter Bonwick. Christine enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 12 April 1917. She served in British hospitals in Salonika as a Staff Nurse with the Australian Army Medical Corps (2/AIF) during World War I. She returned to Australia on 11 September 1919 and was discharged on 21 February 1920. She died aged 91 years.
