Rosie married the love of her life, Emmett Bryan Clark on December 15, 1944 in Jordan, Montana.
This marriage lasted 68 years. To this union three children were born; Alice (Ray) Taunton of North Olmsted, Ohio; Richard E. Clark of Great Falls, Montana; and, Viola (Jerry) Negaard of Terry, Montana .
Emmett and Rosie farmed and ranched in the Brusett area of Garfield County until retirement then moved to Musselshell, Montana.
Rosie had a love of all animals, plants and people. At her home on the farm, she had all types of pets—too numerous to name. She spent many hours in the last few years with her garden and flowers. She always grew more than she could use, much of the garden produce was given to friends, family and neighbors.
She enjoyed people and loved visits from children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors. Rosie often commented on how much she loved the people in Musselshell and how wonderful they had been to her and her family after they moved to Musselshell—‘to be treated so good’ was something she held in high regard.
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband Emmett; her sister, Alice Loomis and brother, Eddie Paine.
She is survived by her three children, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law Jean Paine.
A Visitation will be held from 5-9 P.M., Sunday, Nov. 6 at Wier Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. in Musselshell on Monday, November 7, 2016.
Memorials may be made to the Musselshell Fire Department and Ambulance.
