Ramona Parker of Salinas, CA, born July 3, 1933, went to be with her Lord on Thursday November 3, 2016, peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Ramona was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin. Married for 62 years, Ramona and Kenneth raised their four dear children, Lonnie, Lori, Patti and Kenny over the years in Salinas, CA.

Ramona faithfully loved her family through her many talents such as delicious cooking and crafting. A woman of faith and the heart of the Parker family, she had a real zest for life. Ramona loved to go dancing with her sisters and actively participated in her children's sports and schooling. She loved rodeo days with her family from L.A., CA.

Ramona had a light in her eyes, that was infectious. She was a wonderful example of faith, hope and charity, with energy, enthusiasm, and creativity. Ramona made each one of our lives more joyful and her love for all of us was strong and unconditional. Saying things like, "Oh where's my hug?" or, "Do you need anything else?", she always made sure we were absolutely cared for. Whether she was making her famous tacos or putting tinsel on her Christmas tree, she always made you feel the love.

Ramona was an expert in story-telling with stories from her dancing days, to when she and Ken met, to buying their first house together. She was known for her ease of conversation, and entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and strong demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. We will forever be changed by the witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Ramona would not want us to dwell on her death, but to celebrate her life and our own, sharing many memories with her.

Remember her smile, laugh, her waving outside till you couldn't see her anymore, or praying over your car when you would leave her house. She was our rock. She would stop whatever she was doing to help when you needed it. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around will never be forgotten. Remember your conversations, your full tummy, the way she made you know how much she deeply cared for you, and how special you were to her. We are what made her happy; her family.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 1:30pm at Compass Church 830 Padre Dr. Salinas, CA 93901.

Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.
