VAN METER - A funeral for Geneva Hulse, 90, of Van Meter was held Dec. 3, 1986 at the Van Meter United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hulse died of a heart ailment on Nov. 30 at Hillhaven West Care Center in West Des Moines.
Burial was in the Van Meter Cemetery.
The daughter of Lewis and Lizze Fisher she was born at Van Meter on Feb. 28, 1896. She married Lloyd Chauncey Hulse on Nov. 20, 1919 at Van Meter. A homemaker, she was a member of the Van Meter United Methodist Church and a 70-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Richard of Van Meter; a daughter, Joanne Jones of Winterset, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
