A native of Shelby county, Mr. Moore was born Aug. 22, 1887, to Thomas and Elizabeth Thomas Moore. His first wife, the former Letha Wolfe, died 27 years ago, and he later married Marie Bowman, who survives. He was a member of Azalia Friends church, the Masonic lodge and the Scottish Rite at Indianapolis and Eagles and Moose lodges in Connersville.
Survivors are the wife, Mrs. Marie Moore; a son, Ivan H. Moore of 2226 Gilmore street; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Erickson of Keego Harbor, Mich.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two daughters, three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
