Jack E. Cannon, born in Dallas County Texas, passed away at his home in Bayfield, CO. on October 31st, 2016, he was 79.
Jack and his wife, Anna, raised their children in Albuquerque, NM.
Once Jack retired, they moved to Bayfield, Colorado. Comma where they enjoyed life in the cool Pines. Jack enjoyed working on multiple committees and projects, including quote Friends of the library quote comma in Bayfield comma Co. Enchanted Forest homeowners association, firewise and EFE committee. While at the Sandia Labs he would volunteer at the public schools to teach science and solar energy he also loved being a pilot and sailing. Jack enjoyed the forest that he lived in. First and foremost he loved his family, including his beloved wife Anna and Friends plus his dog Tinkerbell.
Jack was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Anna, his parents, Horace and Bernice Cannon, brother, Michael Allen who passed away at infancy, grandfather, Jeremiah Cannon and grandmother, Leitha M. King. His great-grandfather was Robert Edward Cannon, son of James who was the son of Wiley Cannon.
Jack is survived by three daughters, Debra (Dennis) Forbes of Nashua, NH, Linda Cannon (Ronny) Manus of Edgewood NM and Teresa (Michael Jr.) Hackett, six grandchildren Jeff, Ryan and Kyle Forbes of Nashua, NH, Shauna (Chandler) Montgomery, of Roswell NM, Melissa (Jimmy) Williams of Roswell, NM, Michael Hackett III and five great-grandchildren Jaton, Lukas and Carly Montgomery Jace and Jackson Williams, all of Roswell, NM.
There will be a memorial service at the Daniels Family Funeral Home Coal Chapel Monday, November at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Jack requested a donation at local food bank of your choosing.
