Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Ferguson passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs MO on October 27, 2016.  She was only 57 years old and went by Cindy, mom or grandma by the people who knew and loved her.  She had a vibrant and larger than life personality. Her sense of style was always bright, daring, bold and full of BLING. She loved Rock and Roll music and going to loud concerts.  She enjoyed working out in her yard, always pruning, planting and watering her flowers and garden.  She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds outside along with her cat Lilly who always watched through the window. She loved swimming in her pool with her grandkids and generally being outside with nature.  She was always tan whether it was natural from the sun, unnatural from a bottle or just an old traditional fake bake from the bed.  She was absolutely obsessed with anything jewelry. This was obvious by the 5 or 6 jewelry boxes full in her bedroom, packed floor to ceiling room designated for beads alone, books and manuals of beads, how to instructions, tools to make it with, rings on her every finger before leaving the house not to mention the Christmas box full of jewelry we received every year. She was also obsessed with online ordering and so therefore whomever went to visit her went home with something or other always whether they needed it or not. Her heart was big and it showed in the way she loved and gave of herself to others.
Cindy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenny Ferguson, in June 2012.  She is survived by her son, Jason Ferguson and his wife Theresa of Lee’s Summit, MO; her step-daughter, Sherri Smith and her husband Craig of Oak Grove, MO; her sister, Sherry Lomax of Independence MO; her sister-in-law, Debbie Ramsey and her husband Jeff of Grand Forks, ND; her 5 grandchildren: Jordan, Austin, Hailie, Landon and Sophie; her great-grandson, Jace; her nieces: Crystal, Corbin, Cassie, Teran, Kalissa, and Brooklyn; and nephew, Colton.  She is also leaving several cousins and other family and friends behind whom will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1st at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Burial of ashes will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2nd in Oak Grove Cemetery.
