Victor Paulos, of Waukesha, died peacefully December 7, 2009, at age 82. He was survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Alice (nee Dutschmann); his children; his grandchildren; his brothers; other relatives and many friends. Born in Milwaukee on June 9, 1927, to the late Xenophon and Magdalene (nee Habermann), Mr. Paulos graduated valedictorian of Lutheran High School class of 1945 and received his teaching degree from Concordia University at River Forest, Illinois in 1949. He went on to earn a master's degree in history from California State College at Los Angeles in 1964, and a master's degree in economics from the University of Illinois in 1973. Mr. Paulos was an elementary school teacher at Trinity Lutheran School in McAllen, Texas, Mt. Calvary Lutheran School in Milwaukee, and First Lutheran School in Monrovia, California. For 27 years Mr. Paulos taught history and economics at his alma mater, Milwaukee Lutheran High School, retiring in 1991.
