She retired from the IRS after 22 years of service. Clara was raised a farm girl and loved her puppies.
Clara will be greatly missed by her friends and family that she left to cherish her memories including her sons, Gilbert Lawson and wife Chustine, Richard Lawson, Sr. and wife Patty, Joel Lawson and wife Mary Jane and Jon Lawson and wife Beatrice; daughter-in-law Patti Lawson; grandchildren Kevin Lawson, Andria Hill, Ernest Lawson, Kimberly Jolly, Stephanie Harris, Maggie Salinas, Ricky Lawson and Jon Lawson and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Noel Lawson, her parents Sam Hardy and Agnes Belle Debo, three sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service following at 10:00am.
