Sissie loved dancing, cooking, family and she enjoyed being a choir director and song leader at church. You could always count on her telling a funny joke or a good story. Her smile and laughter will be missed.
She is survived by daughters, Carrie Roberts and Charlene Mesa, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her father Leonard Shelton, mother Billie Jo Shelton, sister LenNora Cates and twin brother Dean Shelton.
The celebration of her life will begin with a funeral service on Friday, November 4, 2016, 11:00 am at Funeraria del Angel Kammann Mortuary in Yuma, AZ, officiated by Rev. Killingsworth. Potluck reception will follow at 2409 S. 27th Ave.
Burial services will be Monday, November 7, 2016, 12:00 pm at Desert Lawn Memorial.
