David Lee Kilgore, age 75, returned to the arms of his Savior, on Monday, October 31, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 28, 1941, to the late Ernest and Sarah (McQueen) Kilgore, in Del Norte, Colorado. He graduated from Memphis High School. He married Norma Whitehead on September 2, 1961; together they would raise two children. David worked in patient services for Texas Tech Health Science Center. He was a member of South Park Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time in the mountains and fishing with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma; children, John and Jamie Kilgore, Le'Ann and Jim McGarity; grandchildren, Nikki Kilgore and Daniel Nelson, Nathan and Heather Altman, Jarred Kilgore, Jason Altman, Sydney Lien; great grandchildren, Tylan Austin, Daycen Austin, Tobyn Lopez, Jordyn Altman, Haylie Altman, John Kilgore, Jacob Kilgore, Cyprus Kilgore; brother, Dale and Gayle Kilgore; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends he considered family.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Combest Family Funeral Homes, in the Oak Crest Suite, with family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Celebration of Life services will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 1 p.m. at South Park Baptist Church. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggest donations be made to South Park Baptist Church in his name, or, The American Lung Association.
