Brenda Joyce Dietz Hunt, age 75, of Ragley, Louisiana left this world on September 6, 2016 to walk with her Savior. Brenda lived out the admonition of Christ to be a cheerful giver, and all who met her were blessed by her thoughtfulness and spirit of humility. She was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late William Gottlieb Dietz and the late Mary Louisa Miller Dietz.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzan Marcantel and husband, Robert of DeQuincy, two sons, Slade Hunt and wife, Teresa of Ragley and Shannon Hunt and Sundee of Ragley along with eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Thomas Dietz and wife, Anna Mae of Iota, Louisiana and sister, Evelyn Trumps of Iota, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 57 years, Harold Hunt, daughter, Suzette Hicks and her six siblings.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 5 – 9:00 P.M. with the funeral to be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 beginning at 10:00 A.M. Visitation and the funeral will be held at Bible Baptist Church, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Pastor Eric Aultman will be officiating. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery, Ragley, Louisiana.
