Funeral services for Lester Sawyer, Bellmead and Hubbard car dealer, were held at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Hubbard. Rev. Sam Cluck officiated with burial in Dawson Cemetery. Eubank Funeral Home of Hubbard was in charge. Mr. Sawyer died at 10 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Hubbard. He was 57.
Mr.Sawyer operated his business at 3617 Bellmead Drive for the past 10 years. He also owned and operated a ranch at Hubbard. He was born near Dawson and lived in the Hubbard-Dawson area all his life.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Donald Pomykal of Temple; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Littlejohn, Mrs. Fay Holt and Mrs. Ida Carter, all of Pasadena.
