Dorothy passed away at her home at the age of 88 years old.
Dorothy was the daughter of John Mccleve Young and Chloe Louise Spencer. Dorothy was the Fourth of Five Children. She married Murray Wells Whitney on September 18, 1918 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Attended the University Of Utah. Member of the Chi Omega Sorority. Member of the LDS Church.
Dorothy and Murray had Four Children.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday August 9, 1986 at 12 Noon at the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple Street. A Viewing was held one hour prior to services.
Graveside Services followed at the Salt Lake City Cemetery where she was buried next to her Husband Murray.
Murray died on February 27, 1972.
