Warren C. Rice, 69 passed away peacefully at his home in Bethlehem on Oct. 14, 2016.
He was born in Hamden on April 5, 1947, to Beulah “Bea” L. (Bice) and William L. Rice. He graduated from Southbury High School in 1965 and worked in the communications field for more than 30 years.
Warren was a veteran of the United States Army, 6th U.S. Army 54th MP Company USATC Infantry, serving as light weapons infantry in Korea during the Vietnam War. He received a National Defense Service Medal as well as an Expert ranking as a rifleman.
