Mollie C. Gardner, 77 of Bluefield, VA and formerly of Logan, WV, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Carilion New River Valley Hospital. She was born on December 15, 1938 in Logan, WV and was the daughter of the late Frank and Nila Curry of Logan, WV. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be remembered forever for always putting others needs above her own. She was a longtime active member of East River Church in Bluefield, VA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Billy F Gardner; son: David W Gardner and 8 brothers; 2 sisters.
She is survived by her loving daughter: Stephanie and husband, Alfred Blankenship, Jr and their children, Alfred III, Kasandra and husband, Trampus McDaniel; loving son: Phillip Gardner of the home and his children; Joey Danieley and wife, Kayla, Jennifer Stasheen and husband, Chad; grandchildren: Kathy Gardner Cook, Davy Gardner and companion, Jessie, Megan Conrad and husband, Jeremy; 7 Great-grandchildren. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Roger Curry and wife, Janie; sisters- in law: Vaughn Jeffers and husband, Doc and Betty Curry. She will be missed by special friend and neighbor: Mary Ann Blankenship and a host of nieces, nephews and church family from East River Church (Assembly of God), Bluefield, VA.
A service to celebrate Mollie’s life will be held Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at East River Church with Pastor Tim Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
