A life cannot be captured, it can only be told;
words lay it out, we revere.
Generous. Humorous. Strong. Proud. A drummer. A provider. A music lover. (The Beatles, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughn-rock on.)
The imagination of a little boy. The resolve of a man. Day after day, he bore his suffering and let us shine.
Thirty-six years at Murray City Power. Forty-three years of a marriage to his Linda, his "Wendover girl," his Sylvia, his savior.
Three daughters: Jamie, Danelle, Nina. Our love and gratitude wash over the surface of your soul. We know how loved and cared for we were. Never did we want.
Granddaughter Brianna and the Candy Land games you let her win-thank you, she says. Your Gracie, who you gave her first set of drums; she carries your wacky wit. Your only grandson, Maxo man; you built forts and made Army men, playing endlessly. The adoration between you was complete.
Mother Ilene, Father Don. Sisters Pennie and Sherrie, Brother Mick. All the camping. All the good times.
Here comes the sun dad.
The truest love is unconditional love. Love, your wife.
(A celebration of his life will be held at a later time.)
