Vivian (Moffitt) Richardson, a dedicated servant of her Lord and Savior, left this life and arrived in Heaven on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born in Calera, Oklahoma to Huell and Florence (Coble) Moffitt on February 7, 1924.


Vivian was a member of the County Line Holiness Church for many years. She was a Nurse's Aide in the USO during WWII. Vivian loved to travel, and the quiet solitude of fishing. She enjoyed gardening, watching basketball, painting ceramics, and especially writing letters to her beloved sister. Vivian had a caring nature and worked as a LPN in health care.


Mrs. Richardson is survived by her daughters, Wanda Jackson and husband Dale of Soper, Oklahoma and Rita Tedder of Vernal, Utah; brother, Roy Lee Lloyd and wife Miranda of Hartsville, South Carolina; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.


Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Richard Steen and 2nd husband, Swan Richardson; parents, Huell and Florence Lillian Moffitt; children, Sylvia Corbett and Donald Householder; sisters, Betty Ray Moffitt, Esther Porter, Imogene Swafford , Jewell Fay Holt and Vera Thomas; brothers, Billy Moffitt and Huell Ray Moffitt.


A chapel service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Pastor Jesse West officiating. Burial will be at the Rosewood Cemetery in Achille, Oklahoma.
