Alfred Coke "A.C." Cronkhite,70, Kingman died at noon Sunday in Heritage House Nursing Home at Clinton.
Mr. Cronkhite was self-employeed and had worked at the United Samaritan Medical Center Sager Campus at Danville, Ill.
He was born June 14, 1924, in Warren County, Ind. to Augusta Coke and Martha Nickolas Cronkhite. He married Lorabell Bowsher on Nov 1, 1942. She survivors.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Karlina) Huffman of Kokomo, Ind.; a son, Augustus "Gus" of Kingman; four sisters, Francis Ballard, Augustas Lewis, and Dorothy Dretske, all of Indianapolis, and Virginia Knauer of Cincinnati, OH; a brother, Robert Cronkhite of Nancy. KY; two grandchildren
He ws preceded in death by four brithers.
Twilight funeral services are scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday in Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman with Kenneth Majors officiating. Calling will be 4-7 p.m. that day at the funeral home. Private burial services are scheduled in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
