Howard B. “Howie” Scott, of the Town of Raymond, passed away at home surrounded by family Saturday, Oct 29, 2016 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Ardine Hebron (nee Haugen) and the late Doris A. (nee Noble). Dear father of the late Bruce, Bryan (Beverly), Barb (Jerry) Daniels, Bob (Tammy) Scott, and Bonnie (Phil) Paradies. Second father of Ardine’s children, Susan (Michael) Molnar, Rick (Anita), Deborah (the late Frank) Malko, Mel (Karen), and Craig (Wendy) Hebron. Loving grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 16 on the Scott side, and grandfather to 12 and great-grandfather to six on the Hebron side. Brother of John A. (the late Gertrude) Scott and Fern (the late Elroy) Fellwock. Further survived by nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.
Howie used his skilled hands to fulfill his many passions in life including mechanics and gardening, and provided his family with countless examples of life’s invaluable lessons and skills.
Visitation will take place on Saturday Nov 5, 2016 at RAYMOND COMMUNITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST 8217 W Six Mile Rd (Hwy G) from 9am until 10:45 with funeral services at 11am, followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
