She was born, Dorthy Ann Fritts, in the city of Austin on October 24, 1930. A pretty girl with light, brown curly hair who developed a lifelong love of reading, sewing, and games from her beloved Granny Fritts.

She met the love of her life, Don Albright at Austin High School where she was active in choir, the Minoan Sorority, and student government. After Don enlisted in the Navy, they married in Reno, Nevada and were stationed at Tongue Point, Astoria Oregon. In 1954, Dot and Don returned to family and friends and the city she so proudly loved with all her heart, Austin Texas.

Working for Southwestern Bell, assigned to a coveted job at the Texas State Legislature, Dot eventually chose to be a stay at home mom for their 3 lovely daughters. Dot and Don had a beautifully fulfilled life of flirting, laughing and fun. With their daughters, family and friends there were always games...and Lake Travis, forever Lake Travis. Together the family enjoyed so many things; board and card games, dominoes, bowling, camping, RV'ing, ping pong, UT football, darts, fishing, water skiing, boating and the wonderful houseboat on Lake Travis. She had a great life with Don, with their girls, with family and friends enjoying those endless weekends..."Forever and Always".

She was proceeded in her October 28, 2016 death, by her devoted husband of 54 years, Don E. Albright, her parents Roy Fritts and Bertha Ellis Roundtree, her sister Cindy Barnhart and her grandson-in-law, Tim Linville.

She is survived by her: daughters, Donna Martin of Fort Worth, Delain "Lainey" Hudgins and husband, Steve of Lago Vista, and Delinda Gillham and husband, Marks of Georgetown; grandchildren, Vicki Linville of Mansfield, Brad Martin and wife Casie of Crowley, Hayli McKnight and husband Ryan of Leander, Christi and Justin Hudgins of Lago Vista, Melanie Tipps and husband Ben of Dallas, Matthew Gillham of Dallas, and Jake Gillham of Austin; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Lauren Linville, of Mansfield, DeKoven and Maddison Martin of Crowley, Hayden and Pierce McKnight of Leander.

Graveside services will be held at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
