Franklin News-Herald, Monday, Mar 6 1944:

Miss Ina Lundstrom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Lundstrom of Titusville, married Sgt. Adam J. McFadden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis McFadden of Franklin, at 5 pm Sunday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Titusville, with Rev. Edwin S. Carlon officiating. The bride's attendant was Mrs. Theodore Jacobson, and Phillip McFadden of Jamestown, NY, was his brother's best man. Ushers were Carl Renee Westergren of Erie and Theodore Jacobson of Titusville. The groom worked at Woodburn, Cone & Company in Franklin, then Sharon, before entering the Army two years ago. He is stationed at Camp Reynolds, near Greenville.

Adam J. McFadden, 74, of 230 Atlantic Ave., died at 1:30 am today in the Franklin Hospital soon after he was admitted. He was born June 25, 1907 in Franklin, son of Lewis A. and Louisa Hied McFadden.


He graduated from Franklin high School and spent all his life here. During World War II he served with the US Army from 1942 to 1945. He worked at Campbell's Department Store for many years and later for Bears Furniture, retiring from there.


On March 5, 1944, he married Ina Lundstrom of Titusville, who died May 29, 1967.


Surviving are several cousins, including Mrs. Dorothy Engles and John Hied, both of Franklin, and Mrs. Joseph (Elsie) Strickland of Mt. Dora, FL. Deceased are his parents; a brother, Phillip; and an infant sister are deceased.


Services will be at the Gardinier Funeral Home with Rev. Alice Beals officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery
