Attest May 23, 1940 at London, Onatrio. Prior to enlistment he had his own business as a jeweller.

He died in Brantford General Hospital from coronary thrombosis.

He was the son of John and Katherine (McKenzie) McMillan, of Owen Sound. He had attended school in Keppel, Ontario.
He was the husband of Irene McMillan, of Wiarton ... and the father of Ronald George and Barbara Joyce McMillan.

He is commemorated on page 16 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance. He is remembered on the Cenotaph at Wiarton, Ontario. There is a Tribute to him on the Roll Call of Honour website.
