She was a graduate of Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, Palos Hills, Class of 1980.
Leslie loved cooking, entertaining and gardening. Most of all, spending quality time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Mitchell T. Cooper of Plainfield; two daughters, Ashlee and Stephanie Simon of Plainfield; her mother, Loretta (Drew) Abbott-Drish of Oak Brook; her brother, Jim (Sandy) Abbott of New Lenox; two sisters, Cheryl (Ron) Weissenhofer of Naperville and Nicole (Michael) Kamper of Joliet.
Leslie was preceded in death by her father, James Abbott.
