Went to be with his Lord Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Covenant Healthcare Harrison; age 94 years. Robert was born on September 14, 1922 in Saginaw, MI to the late Fred and Renetta Edmonds. Robert served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service, retiring after over 40 years of service. Robert was a member of the American Legion Post 150, and a previous member of the Frankenmuth Conservation Club.

Surviving are: 3 daughters, Jan (Jack) Danks of Bridgeport, MI, Sandy (Tim) Brown of Frankenmuth, MI, Cheri (Mark) Hugo of Essexville, MI; grandchildren, John (Michelle) Danks, Jennifer (Matt) McDonald, Janelle Wilhelm, Jackie Danks, Bethany (Ryan) VanGuilder, Timothy Brown, Michael (Sabrina) Kohlhoff, Matt Hugo, Jeremy (Diana) Hugo, Andrew (Stacy) Hugo, Mark (Jessica) Hugo, Calvin (Kaitlyn) Hugo; great grandchildren, Brendan and Tyler McDonald, Megan, Michael and Jacob Danks, Conner and Corbin Wilhelm, Izaiah, Eriyon and Elijah Danks, Hannah Brown, Zane VanGuilder, Isabelle and Alexander Kohlhoff, Caleb and Gavin Hugo, Jamison Hugo, Jacob, Jazmine and Raelyn Hugo, Austin and Logan Hugo, and Jacey Hugo.

Funeral services will take place Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1200 E. Genesee, Frankenmuth, MI. Rev. Jeff Luplow will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Cemetery. Bob’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
