AUBURN - Christopher "Buckshot" L. Andrews, 58, a resident of Wales, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at the Hospice House with his loving family by his side.

He was born March March 12, 1958, in Lewiston, the son of Eugene C. Andrews and Clarinda (Kingsford) Andrews.

He attended Monmouth Academy and transferred to Oak Hill High School in Wales, graduating in 1977.

On June 29, 2002, in Wales, he married Christy Smith of Winthrop.

He worked as a logger and farmer and also worked as a sexton for Maxwell-East Wales Cemetery.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the woods. Chris especially enjoyed spending time with his family at the family camp at Kingsbury pond in Mayfield.

He is survived by his wife, Christy Andrews; his son, Isaac John Andrews; his mother, Clarinda Andrews; his brothers, Mike, Alden and Scott Andrews, all of Wales; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Clair Smith of Winthrop; his sister-in-law, Rhonda Smith-Doyon and her husband, Bob, of Greene; brothers-in-law, Jason Smith and his wife, Jamie, of Monmouth and Ryan Smith and his wife, Beth, of Winthrop; his nieces, Mallory McDonald and her husband, Nathan, Olivia Doyon, and Alexis Smith; and nephews, Evan and Ostin Smith and Reid and Blake Smith.

He was predeceased by his father, Eugene Andrews; and his brother, Mark Andrews.

He will be greatly missed by his friends and neighbors on Centre Road, where all of the children referred to him as "Uncle Buck".

FUNERAL NOTICE
ANDREWS - Christopher L., 58, of Wales, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 6, at 1pm at BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth. Visitation will be from noon to 1pm, prior to the funeral service. Interment at the Maxwell-East Wales Cemetery, East Road, Wales.
