Nelda was born on April 15, 1946 in New Orleans, LA and passed away on October 30, 2016 in Monroe, LA.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sterlington, LA and worked in retail for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Eula Mae English and a brother, David Ray English.
She is survived by her sons, David Ray Atwell and wife Paula, Michael Atwell and wife Angela, and Jerry Atwell and wife Lexie; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be George Atwell; sons, David, Michael and Jerry; and grandsons, Blake and Michael Lane.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Cole Atwell and Connor Atwell.
Services will be under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
