She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Jasper, Danville; two grandsons, Kevin (Terre') Jasper, Jimmy (Jennifer) Jasper, both of Owensboro; a great grandson, Noah Grant Jasper; a sister, Marjorie Crowder, Lynchburg, VA; and a brother, Virgil Rea, Jr., Waynesboro, VA. Funeral services will be 1pm Sat, Dec. 30, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. Burial will be 11amTue, Jan. 2, 2007, in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be after 11am Sat. She was born December 3, 1914 in Albemarle County, Virginia, daughter of the late Virgil Rice and Essie Lena Hawkins Rea. Mrs. Harper is survived by a daughter, Brenda Jasper, Danville; two grandsons, Kevin (Terre') Jasper, Jimmy (Jennifer) Jasper, both of Owensboro; a great grandson, Noah Grant Jasper; a sister, Marjorie Crowder, Lynchburg, VA; and a brother, Virgil Rea, Jr., Waynesboro, VA. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Mowry, Annie Mahanes; and three brothers, Massie, Dennis, and Earl Rea. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Jimmy Jasper and Terre' Jasper. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2007, in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
