ALICE, Texas - Oscar Longoria Reynolds Sr., 67, died Sunday, December 24, 2006 in an Alice hospital after an illness. A lifelong resident of Alice, he was a retired employee of the City of Alice and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Josefina Longoria Reynolds
Survivors include his wife, Lucila Martinez Reynolds of Alice, Texas; a son, Dr. Oscar (Monica) Reynolds Jr. of Alice, Texas; three brothers, George L. (Mary) Reynolds of Harlingen, Texas, Carlos (Maria Elena) Reynolds of Alice, Texas, and Rene (Melba) Reynolds of Rio Grande City, Texas; and a sister, Edna Kubala of Alice, Texas.
A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alice. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m, Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alice with military burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Alice.
