Services for Richard "Tony" Anthony Foote will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Jackson with Rev. Justin Wainscott officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.Mr. Foote died at his home on Saturday, October 29, 2016.He was a retired educator, having served as a teacher and assistant principal at South Side Junior High School.Richard was born June 13, 1942 in Jackson, TN. He was the son of the late Dr. Henry Foote and the late Virginia Pulliam Foote.His early education was received in the Madison County Schools with continued studies at Union University. He proudly served his country as an SAC Missile Specialist in the United States Air Force, stationed in Lincoln, Nebraska.Richard enjoyed and loved his family and the great outdoors. He spent time camping, fishing, hunting and has a special interest in building and flying Radio Controlled Aircraft. He was a member of Magic Valley Air Force Club in South Jackson. Richard also had a fondness for music and was talented in piano and violin.He attended First Baptist Church in Jackson where he was a member of Fairless/Simmons Life Group.
