Rodney F. Harrison Sr, 84, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on October 31, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 9, 1932 at home in Washington to the late Franklin and Marian Harrison.
Rodney was a lifelong resident of Washington, NJ but he did live briefly in Missouri and Bangor, PA. He graduated from Washington high school class of 1950. He served proudly in the US National Guard during the Korean War. Rodney was a lifelong dairy farmer. He was a parishioner of the Living Word Fellowship. He enjoyed horseback riding.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Joan (DeVries) Harrison. A daughter Rebecca Cully. 4 Sons Rodney Harrison Jr and his wife Susan, Bill Harrison and his wife Christine, Richard Harrison and his wife Sandy and Randy Harrison and his wife JoAnn. 2 Brothers Lloyd Harrison and Wayne Harrison. 18 grandchildren and 19 Great grandchildren.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday November 4, 2016 from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated immediately following at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Montana Mountain Cemetery in Harmony, NJ Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
