Donna Louise Gerean was born to Lilburn Elden and Dixiana (Dutton)Skaggs. She was such a wonderful person, always wanting to laugh and was quick to call at 11 at night to see if I was watching Leno :). As much as that used to irritate me, I'd give anything to have her call me now. She loved to do cross-stitch and loved fishing, making jerky, and other extra-curricular activities. She was very proud of her kids and her grandchildren, who were her "babies". She passed away 6 days after having a major stroke at Cass Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, Lilburn Skaggs in 1993. She is survived by her mother, Dixiana Skaggs, of Independence, Missouri, one sister, Rose Marie Hartsock, of Independence,Missouri, one brother, Russell Eugene Skaggs, of Butler, Missouri, her daughters, Tracy Anne Goodman (and husband Teddi),of Paola, Kansas and Cora Irene Brown (and husband Brian) of Butler, and three grandkids, Michael Alan Gerean, Shyann Eden Brown and Kaylen Elise Brown, all of Butler and many other family and friends. She is missed and loved by all of us.
