Linda Baughman, 54, Decatur, Il., passed away on Saturday March 17, 2012 at Eastview Terrace in Sullivan, Il. Services to Celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, March 22nd at Bethel United Methodist Church, Blue Mound. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Funeral Service begins at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Macon Resources or Special Olympics. Tanzyus – Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements.
Linda was born in February of 1958 to Leona Bray and the late Richard Baughman. Graduating from Sunnyside School in 1979, she took pride in her job at Macon Resources for many years. She was an avid sports fan participating in the city basketball team and loved bowling. Linda was Awarded a trophy as the “Special Olympian” for one that portrays the spirit Of the Special Olympics.
Surviving are her mother, Leona Bray, brothers, Mark Baughman and wife Robin, Steve Baughman and wife Lynda and sister, Annette Giberson and husband Phil, niece, Jill Damery, nephew, Ryan Damery and wife Ellen, stepmother Judy Baughman and Several step-brothers and sisters.
Proceeding her in death were her father, Step-father, Kenn Bray and her grandparents, Howard and Bea Sheppard and Herschel and Helen Baughman.
