Gail Yvonne Allen of Flint, age 73, passed away October 31, 2016 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Genesee Road Church of God, 4344 N. Genesee Rd., Flint; Bishop Bruce Badder and Pastor Jason Kilcoyne co-officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesee Road Church of God.
Gail was born in Flint, MI on November 26, 1942, daughter of the late James and Vera (Hammock) Hodge. She pastored at the Church of God of Prophecies in Flint and Alpena.
Gail is survived by her children, Brenda (McArthur) Love, Robert (Sue) Allen, Bethany (Ronald) DeLauter, Kimberly (Jimmy) Willford; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Allen; daughter, Patricia Joanne Allen; six siblings, Dale Hodge, Alice Cudd, Patricia Summers, Bill Hodge, Doyle Hodge and LaFern Seay.
