Mrs. Alice Augusta Elliott, aged 52 years, died at 9 o'clock yesterday morning at her home on Shumway lease, west of El Dorado, from acute indigestion. Death occurred twenty minutes after the woman became ill. No Funeral arrangements have been made. The body is being held at the Byrd Brothers Funeral Home, 200 South Star Street.
Mrs. Elliott was born January 20, 1871 at Troy Mills, Iowa. She had lived here two months. Mrs. Elliott is survived by three sons and four daughters. The sons are Dick Elliott of Midian; Dan Elliott of El Dorado, and James Elliott of Shumway lease. The daughters, Miss Audina Elliott of the Shumway lease; Miss Fannie Elliott, Tulsa, Okla; Mrs. Maxine Wiseman, Bartlesville, Okla. and Mrs. Rhea Warren, of El Dorado.
El Dorado Times – Mrs. Elliott formerly lived in Floral. The funeral will be held from the Floral Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment will be in Floral Cemetery.
