Margaret Elsbeth Rothrock was the daughter of Charles Valentine Rothrock and Prunella Grace Kelly Rothrock. She was the 5th of 6 children known children. The 1910 census specified that her mother gave birth to four children with only 3 living, twins Ruth and Esther, and Vance McMormick Rothrock. Margaret was born about 1915 and Eva Jane in 1917.

Margaret graduated from William Penn High School June 1931. The newspaper article listing the graduates gives her name as Margaret Elsbeth Rothrock (The Evening News, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Thursday, 11 June 1931, page 3, column 1).

She married Stacy Bryant Gunderman. They obtained their marriage license in Frederick, Maryland as published in The Frederick Post, Frederick, Maryland, Saturday, 30 November 1935, page 5, column 2: Marriage Licenses: Stacy B. Gunderman, 24, Hadensville, Pa. and Margaret E Rothrock, 21, Harrisburg, Pa.

He was a state trooper, but was convicted on 25 February 1937 of 2nd degree murder of a prisoner who had stabbed a fellow officer. He was paroled 10 months later by the same judge that sentenced him after false testimony was exposed.

She was the informant on her father's death certificate (1950), signing her name as Margaret Rothrock Gunderman and using the same address as her parents at 412 Radnor [Street], Harrisburg, Pa.

Still searching for more records, but she is not listed as a survivor in her sister Eva Jane's obituary in 2011, so she died before that date. This memorial was placed in the same cemetery where her parents are buried. Corrections and more information are welcome.
