Funeral services for Margie L. Young, 76, Tyler will be 1pm, Saturday at Dale Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Marshall Johnson serving as eulogist. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co. Mrs. Young died June 23, 2016 in Tyler, Texas.
She was born November 27, 1939 in Smith County, attended Emmett J. Scott High School and was a lifelong resident of Smith County. Margie was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Preceding her in death was her parents, and three sisters, Floyd Marie, Alma Jean and Barbara Ann.
Survivors include: four sons, Charles Young, Gary Young, David Young, and Donald Young all of Tyler; two daughters, Teresia Young and Devona Young both of Tyler; two brothers, Eddie Hammons and Bobby Lee Hammons both of Winona and one sister, Bobbie Jean Williams, Dallas; ten grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
