Sara Caroline Ball, age 80, of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hillard Ball; parents, Worley and Rose Ball brothers, Everette Ball and William Ball. She is survived by her son, Paul Ellenburg; daughters, Rozella Henley and husband Tommy, of Highpoint, N.C.; Betty Shelton and husband Paul, of Hartford; and Carolyn Turner and husband Donald, of Hartford; brothers, Charles Ball and Farley Ball, both of Newport; sisters, Cora James, of Newport, and Frances Rollin, of Hartford; six grandchildren, Tommy, Craig, Trina, Hanna, Haley, and Mandy; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2006, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ransom Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Shelton Cemetery.
