John Bud Treadway, 82, of Leicester, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2016, while surrounded by his family.

Mr. Treadway was born November 17, 1933 in Madison County to his late parents, Elmer and Julia Treadway. John worked for Gerber Industries, where he retired early to be a full time farmer. He was a member of Cross Rock Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Nora Sawyer Treadway; children, John Kevin Treadway, Lisa Marie Treadway and Paula McFalls (Chris); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Emma Anderson and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Pastors Howard Self and Gene Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
