John B Knight, 86, Lititz R2, died at the Lancaster General Hospital Wednesday afternoon at 5:10.
He had been ill for two days.
A native of Franklin County, he was a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. William Knight, and had been employed as an orderly for a number of years at the Maryland State Sanatorium. His wife, the late
Virgie Baker Knight, died a number of years ago.
Surviving are these children; Mrs. Martha Lindley, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Mrs. William Messenkop, Lititz R2, with whom he resided; James C Knight, New Providence; Charles G Knight, Lancaster; Glenn F Knight, Lititz; 14 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; a brother, Jacob Knight, Chambersburg, and a sister, Mrs. Annie Baker, Pen Mar.
Funeral services from the Wilson Funeral Home, Fairfield, Saturday morning at 10:00 with the
Rev. Otto Kroeger, officiating. Interment in Fairfield Union Cemetery.
