In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Estel Horton; a brother, Fred Williams; and two sisters, Ruby Dell Williams and Fern Anders.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jolene and Ronald Piner, of Winnabow, N.C., and Linda and Roger Quesenberry, of Fancy Gap; sons and daughters-inlaw, Daniel Ray and Patricia Horton, and Kennard and Kathy Horton, all of Fancy Gap; sisters, Elizabeth (Beth) Gardner, of Fancy Gap, and Lila Faye Tolbert, of Roanoke; grandchildren, Chanse Horton, Quinn Horton, Cody Horton, Ashley Horton, Wesley Horton and Karrie Rogers; greatgrandchildren, Hope, Grace, and Colt Horton; and special care giver, Brenda Beasley.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Rev. Jim Richardson, the Rev. Jim Longest, and Elder Edward Bowman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Semones Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday night, December 17, 2008, from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak Grove Church in Hillsville
