Teresa Mae (Leiphart) Wright, 60, was ushered to Heaven by the Lord's angels on October 27, 2016 surrounded by her family at ManorCare Kingston Court. She was the companion of Jeffrey "Bo" Bowman, the couple shared twelve years together.
Born on July 12, 1956 in York, she was the daughter of the late Bernadette A. (Weaver) and Leroy C. Leiphart.
Teresa enjoyed being a homemaker who loved her family very much, especially her granddaughter. She was very fond of her dog, Zoey and feeding the squirrels.
Teresa leaves to cherish her memory companion, Bo; granddaughter, Kaylee Snyder; siblings, Richard Leiphart, Clifford Leiphart, Samuel Leiphart, Sharon Gusler, Doris Waughtel, Beverly Tate; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded by a son, Eric Wright; father of her son, Andrew Grothe; and a brother, Leroy Leiphart, Jr.
A visitation will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St., York. The Celebration of Life Services begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jen Ryerson officiating.
Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
