She was born February 8, 1926 in Price to Newel and Marcella Christensen and was raised in Ephraim with her loving brothers, Moyle, Don, and Mel.
Mom married her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, Dale J. Nielson, on January 3, 1944. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple.
Mom was a devoted follower of Christ and served the Lord daily in her interactions with others.
As children, we were blessed with parents who were never far from each other's sight. Mom and Dad raised their family in Salt Lake City, spending the last sixty-one years in the same home, contrary to what she thought for the last few months.
Our mom loved people, and everyone who entered her home and life was family. She was an extraordinary lady and lived a full and wonderful life.
Mom was preceded in death by her loving husband and is survived by their seven children, Jerry Sandack, Janean (Russ) Sonntag, Courtney (Stephanie), Debra (Glen) Greener, Brad (Kristin), Suzanne (Jeff) Heninger, and Chris (Heidi). She truly loved her twenty-four amazing grandchildren, twenty-nine adoring great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
