Edith Pearl Metts was the daughter of Samuel Metts and Jennie Benson of Highlandtown. She was the second wife of Frank Wilbur Allison of Salineville, Columbiana County, Ohio. They married at the Methodist Church in Hancock, West Virginia on December 24, 1941. They had no children, but were married for 21 years prior to her husbands death on the 30th April of 1963. He is also buried at Highlandtown Cemetery according to his obituary.
