"GRASS VALLEY (Nevada Co.)
May 22. – Howison Crouch, 64, a well known resident of Grass Valley, died to-day in the Jones Memorial Hospital where he had been confined since he suffered a fracture of one leg two months ago.
Crouch for many years was safety engineer at the Empire Mine and for eight years operated a store here. Last year he had charge of the Memorial Park Swimming Pool. Crouch, who had been here twenty-four years, leaves his wife, a son, Stirling Crouch, University of California student, and a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Gilson of Oakland.
The funeral services probably will be held Sunday. The W. R. Jefford and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements."
