Brian R. Callahan, age 68, of Lansing, IL passed away October 25, 2016. He is survived by his brothers: Barry (Bernadette) Callahan, Dennis B. Callahan and sister, Mari S. (Ken) Melchert. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Helen Callahan; brother Timothy (Linda) Callahan. Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. Brian will be laid to rest at Ridge Lawn Cemetery, Gary, IN. Brian was employed at the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago for over 30 years. His passions over the years were trains, stamp collecting and antique collecting. Brian also enjoyed keeping updated and his pulse on current events. He was truly a nice man; he will be missed by all who knew him.
