Born and raised in Genesee County to a father that drove truck and a mother that was classy. Anita was often seen as a quiet person, but she knew exactly what was going on around her.

For many years, she worked in Rochester at various sites for Kodak and like so many others around her, found herself in a position that required a career change. From 2003 to 2013, she was an officer with the New York State Department of Correctional Services. She served at Fishkill, Wallkill, Eastern, Five Points and Albion Correctional Facilities.

Having honorably retired, she looked forward to spending more time with her grandchildren.

Through the years, grandma's house was the place to be; late nights, pizza and movies and whatever-you-want-for-breakfast was always on the itinerary. Anita loved her family, her children and her grandchildren and was a co-worker that you could lean on.

Love you and miss you 'Nita.
