Conrad was the 5th of 7 children of George Yerian and his 2nd wife, Margaret Williams.
He married July 2, 1805, in Columbiana County, Ohio, to Eve Rupert.

Besides the children linked below they had:
Margaret b.June 3, 1806, probably died by 1810.
Maria Yarian b.July 15, 1820, d.1825.
Simon Yarian b.March 1826.

Conrad and his brother, Matthias came from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, into Unity Township, Columbiana County, Ohio, in 1803 and settled there for life. They served together in the War of 1812 under their neighbor, Captain Martin Sitler.
