LORRAINE C. (KUHMANN) YOUNG, age 89, died on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born in East Orange, she resided there until moving to East Brunswick 64 years ago. Prior to retiring, Lorraine worked as a clerk at the Hostess Bakery in East Brunswick for 18 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, H. Douglas Young, in 2006 and by her daughter, Mary, in 2009. Surviving are her three sons, Douglas, of East Brunswick, Paul (Roselyn) of Neptune, and Andrew (Sharon) of Browns Mills; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 11/3, at 10:15 AM at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew RC Church, East Brunswick. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
